Collection and Use of Personal Information

Burlington Pediatrics will not collect personal data from you without your consent, in accordance with the following:

Pedi QuikCalc 5 does not collect, use, disclose, transfer or store any personal information.

Stork does not collect, use, disclose, transfer or store any personal information.

BP By Your Side may save limited, user-supplied personal data (such as name and date of birth) on your local device and this information, along with responses from any user-completed forms within the app may be securely transmitted to Burlington Pediatrics to provide the basic functionality of the app. This information is never otherwise collected, stored, shared or used by Burlington Pediatrics for any other purposes, and is deleted from the device when the app is deleted by the user. Users may choose to receive notifications to their device from Burlington Pediatrics for the purpose of receiving relevant practice information and alerts, using the Apple Push Notifications Service. Burlington Pediatrics does not store any information related to user devices subscribed to Push Notifications, and users may choose to opt-out of notifications at any time from within the app.

Burlington Pediatrics uses reasonable efforts to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration or disclosure of personal data, including physical, electronic and procedural safeguards. However, due to the nature of mobile applications and communications, we cannot guarantee the security of any data saved or transmitted through mobile messaging. When you provide Burlington Pediatrics with information through the use of this application, you agree to provide accurate, complete and true information. You agree not to use a false or misleading name or a name that you are not authorized to use. If Burlington Pediatrics, in our sole discretion, believes that any such information is untrue or inaccurate, we may prohibit you from any further use of this application and pursue any appropriate legal remedies.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
